Above is a picture of participants who attended a meeting that was hosted by The Arc Alliance at the request of Josh Shapiro. Josh Shapiro, Chairman of the Montgomery County Commissionars, was looking for input from Montgomery County providers on what issues that they are facing and what actions the Montgomery County Commissioners could take in supporting persons with developmental disabilities in this time of dramatic cuts in funding. The meeting was very successful and several activities are planned as a result of this event.

The Arc Alliance would like to celebrate your family’s accomplishments! Come join with other families, the staff of The Arc Alliance Children’s Services and 
Advocacy Services and enjoy a summer evening filled with food, music, clowns, face painting and more. All festivities will be held at Lower Providence Park (located at Lower Providence Administration Building) on Friday, May 31, 2013 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
During the evening we will have the swearing in of the officers of The Arc Alliance, the presentation of both community and staff recognition awards and a whole lot of fun!
